Photo “Pink and Green” is the winner of the XIX Edition of "Memorial Maria Luisa" 2008 photo contest in Spain.

This photo was taken in Southern China, in October of 2005 during the around-the-world expedition of Sergey Melnikoff, sponsored by Ms. Alena Kolchina, the entrepreneur and art lower from London, UK.

The shooting time is early morning, at 6:00 AM. The distance from the cameraman to the last group of the mountains is over 50 km. Pink beams of the sun fill in bright greens of bamboo jungle of one of the most beautiful places of China.
